With this title Owen revisits the medieval form of the bestiary to explore the use of animals to represent good and evil. As each animal is designated as a god or demon, they each offer a poetic response to these roles. The book is printed on Rives paper and consists of hand- pained etchings, and three hand printed wrappers. The text is printed letterpress by Mary Phelan, using Caslon Old Style, and Lombardic Capitals The book is bound by Owen in a cloth covered chemise, decorated with a hand pained etching. Printed in an edition of 30, 26 lettered, and 4 numbered copies. Signed by the artist.
